KARACHI: The donkey who was brutally beaten by workers of a political party last week couldn’t survive the barbarity he was subjected to and passed away today.
The ACF Animal Rescue wrote of his sad demise today on their social media page. They had lovingly named him Hero.
They wrote that “He just saw a week of happiness, peace, and love with us, and we saw this beautiful, intelligent personality who was abused and tortured for absolutely no reason, for no fault of his own.”
When ACF recovered him, they wrote on their social media page that Hero was so traumatized by this cruelty these so-called “party workers” had subjected him to that he would begin shivering with fear on a single touch.
ACF wrote on their social media page that Hero didn’t deserve his death and shame on all of us for allowing such extreme cruelty to exist within our society with no accountability mechanism whatsoever.
Hero was severely abused by a political party’s supporters last week and so vile and sickening was the attack that even the bear mention of the details is gruesome. He was punched and kicked repeatedly in the abdomen and face and there were rope marks all over his body as the zealots hit him with their car as well. He was brutalized to such an extent that even his nostrils were broken.
