ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s ambassador to Bahrain Javed Malik said a visa policy is being formulated to strengthen business ties with Bahrain. As Pakistan-Bahrain’s second business opportunities conference began in Islamabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s ambassador to Bahrain Javed Malik said Pakistan has an open door policy and welcomes all moves aimed at enhancing cooperation in different areas. The visa policy is being streamlined for facilitating trade and investment with Bahrain, he added.
The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Zubair Tufail said that Pakistan has vast vistas of opportunities for investment and we welcome and invite our Bahraini brethren to invest here.
He said telecommunications, tourism, infrastructure sectors are flourishing rapidly and offer magnanimous investment opportunities.
The Bahrain’s chamber of commerce and industry President Khalid al Moyyed said we are pleased by the support and warm welcome by government and people of Pakistan.
The two countries share much in common and the enhanced cooperation in trade and commerce would widen the horizons of bilateral relations between the two countries, he added.
