CHARSADDA: A policeman was injured when a census team was attacked in Mandni area of Charsadda,
However, the attacker was shot by the security personnel. He was later on arrested and moved to an undisclosed location.
The incident took place when census team, who were accompanied by security officials were attacked in Charsadda.
Pakistan’s largest population census started in March 15 in 63 districts of the country after 19 years.
For the security of census staff members, Pakistan Army, Frontier Constabulary, police and levies force personnel were deployed in KP and FATA.
